Very inspiring… In June 2025, I was in Mbale, Uganda to train 30 vegetable & fruit sellers for Rikolto at the Central Market in visual merchandising, integral product quality and customer service. What an enthusiastic group! They are really open to getting to the next level.
🍅 Rikolto Global Support asked me to take care of this from my Africa Business Coaching. Funny detail: on the last day we organized a competition to see who can create the most beautiful department, like we did (and still do) at Albert Heijn.
🍅 I repeated in Arusha Tanzania the same inclusive market training. It was a completely different Fresh Market with different entrepreneurs but also with the same great result. They were especially enthusiastic about the immediately practically applicable content of the Masterclass.
🍅 Even entrepreneurs who did not participate in the training, started to imitate the way of working, so that the entire market started to go through an upgrading again….
