In November 8 – 15 2023 i was in Egypt, Caïro, for the Intra Africa Trade Fair. To expand my African business network and to look for Key-people in the Creative industry (CANEX) It was a special 7-day Trade Fair, organized by Afreximbank in collaboration with African Union and African Continental Free Trade, where almost all countries in Africa were represented with a total of 30,000 visitors. The AFCFTA marketplace, with the statement: Connecting African Markets. An extremely exciting fair, where encouraging and facilitating Intra-African trade was central. Many entrepreneurs were present, but also the financial sector, led by Afreximbank. In addition, Trade-related African government departments and NGOs were also present as enablers. With my Africa Business Coaching I was in the middle of my clients, a great experience, where I was able to expand my Africa Business network.
The CANEX halls in particular, where the creative industry was present, received my special attention. Africa has a lot to offer in the field of authentic stories, music, design and not to forget Fashion and Food! There were countless conferences and workshops every day in that Trade Fair, very interesting to follow and learn from. All in all a great experience to repeat in November 2025. Then Algeria will be the organizing country in Algiers, I’m already looking forward to it!
