In August 2023 i was assisting CEO Charnella Inamahoro of Unikorn (Bujumbura, Burundi) and her managment team. UNIKORN aims to become a leading company in the sub-region, in the production and distribution of fortified whole meal flours made from cereals for porridge, and flours made from wheat, corn (roasted/shelled), and cassava for the dough. It gives high priority to the quality of its products, which will be sold at affordable prices. UNIKORN is an agri-food company created in the context of participating in the reduction of acute and chronic malnutrition, contributing to the reduction of unemployment among Burundian youth because it produces fortified porridge flour in Vitamin A, zinc, iron by mixing cereal flour and roasted legumes added with fortifiers
