Suppose you are a Start up and business is going well, you are growing and growing, better than you expected. Then there comes a time when you will have to move from innovating and pioneering to managing the day-to-day business, in order to enter the Scale up phase. That turns out to be the most difficult cover. Usually at that time there is not yet enough money to appoint a real ‘manager’ and you will therefore have to be able to master both pioneering and managing yourself. In that phase, having a ‘winning team’ is worth its weight in gold, team members who want to go through fire for each other, want to multi-task and also like to pursue your joint business goal.
